V/Line will introduce a new regional train timetable on most lines from Sunday 19 July to coincide with the new metropolitan Connex schedule.
The new timetable will operate on the Bendigo, Echuca, Swan Hill, Geelong, Warrnambool, Bairnsdale, Traralgon, Seymour and Shepparton lines.
The changes will also affect coach services currently replacing trains to Albury during upgrade works.
V/Line General Manager, Ursula McGinnes, said the majority of services remain unaffected.
“It might only be a minor change, however some service will depart earlier, depart later, or have different stopping patterns,” Ms McGinnes said.
“It’s important to get a copy of the new times, because a couple of minutes might be enough to miss your train.”
Passengers are encouraged to download a copy of the new timetable from vline.com.au from Friday 3 July.
Printed timetables will also be available from mid-July at staffed V/Line stations, or by calling 136 196.
Media note:
The Ballarat / Ararat line timetable will change on Sunday 14 June to coincide with the opening of the new Wendouree Station in Ballarat.
